Configuring the display language
Who is this article for?
Users wishing to change their display language on the Web Interface.
IT Administrators responsible for server configuration for the Windows Client.
The method for updating the system language differs significantly depending on whether you are using the Ideagen Quality Management Professional Web Interface or the Windows Client.
This article explains how to apply these changes for both platforms.
1. Changing language in the Web Interface
For the Web application, users can perform updates directly within the application interface. This setting is specific to the user's profile and does not require any server-side configuration.
- To change your language:
- Log in to the Web Interface.
- Click your User Avatar or Profile icon in the top navigation bar.
- Select Settings (or Preferences).
- Locate the Language dropdown menu.
- Select your desired language from the list.
- Click Save.
Note: You may need to refresh the page or log out and log back in for the changes to take full effect.
2. Changing language in the Windows Client
You cannot change the system language directly inside the Q-Pulse Windows Client application.
Language settings for the Windows Client are determined by the configuration on the application server. The method for updating this depends on your hosting environment.
2.1. Ideagen hosted Cloud customers
If your system is hosted by Ideagen, you will not have direct access to the server to make these regional changes.
Please raise a ticket with Ideagen Support requesting the language update for your windows Client environment.
2.2. On-premises customers
If your organization hosts its own Q-Pulse server, your internal IT team can perform this change.
Your IT Administrator must access the server hosting the Q-Pulse instance to adjust the regional or application configuration settings. Once updated on the server, the change will reflect for users launching the Windows Client.
