Infrastructure Modernisation:
- We've upgraded the underlying infrastructure to improve scalability, reliability, and future-proofing.
-
Client Application Update:
-
ClickOnce users: If you deploy the client using ClickOnce, the upgrade will be automatic. No action is required.
If you have users who require a new install of the ClickOnce client, it can be downloaded from one of the below links (amend gnumber value accordingly):

Whitelisting update
To ensure a seamless connection, whitelist the following domains:
-
Generic:
*.iqmp.ideagen.com -
Specific:
cdn.iqmp.ideagen.comand{gnumber}.iqmp.ideagen.com -
Attachment Storage:
*.iqmp-s3-euw2-prd-application-storage.s3.eu-west-2.amazonaws.com
Mobile app update
Mobile users should upgrade to version 2.6.4 to ensure compatibility with the new infrastructure and continued access to all features.
The ideagenqpulse.com URL's will continue to work for a short time, however it may be beneficial to update them to the new domain name as soon as possible.
Server URL New Format:
https://{gnumber}.iqmp.ideagen.com/QPulse5WebServices/Services
Audit Server URL New Format:
https://{gnumber}.iqmp.ideagen.com/QPulse5OfflineAuditServer
SSO Configuration Update
For customers using Single Sign-On (SSO), this upgrade introduces new URLs that must be added to your configuration.
We’ve provided a detailed example for updating your Azure setup. The steps will be similar for additional service providers.
Desktop Client File Name Change
As part of the modernisation process, the default executable file name for the desktop client will change from "Qpulse.exe" to "Quality Management.exe". If your organisation enforces file name extension whitelisting, this change may require updates to your security policies to ensure continued access.
Web Reporting and Document Retrieval Service
Standard format:
https://{gnumber}.iqmp.ideagen.com/QPulseDocumentServicehttps://{gnumber}.iqmp.ideagen.com/Reporting
Alternative format (with database name): The database name (shown in the login page drop-down) is appended to the URL.
Example: A database named "Live" would be:
https://{gnumber}.iqmp.ideagen.com/ReportingLive
Locate Record Attachment
By default, the application includes a "Locate Record" attachment in emails sent to users. The attachment file type, previously designated as ".qpulse", has now been updated to ".qualitymanagement".
As a result of this change, it may be necessary to re-establish the file association between the ".qpulseattachment" extension and the IQMP desktop client to ensure continued functionality.
