How to Install the Ideagen Quality Management Client

The Ideagen Quality Management client is a Windows client used to access the Ideagen Quality Management system. This article outlines how to perform a standard installation in order to test that Ideagen Quality Management is functioning. Once your Ideagen Quality Management system is running you can review Client Deployment Options for details on how to deploy the client to users.
This article is split into the following sections:
1. Install the Client
- Browse to the Client installation folder and run the setup.exe.
- Review and accept the End User Licence Agreement (EULA).
- When prompted, enter the IP address of the Application Server.
Notes:
- It is recommended to use IP address instead of FQDN if possible.
- If a non-standard port was specified during the installation of the server, the port number must be appended to the Application Server in the following format:
<IPAddress>:<Port Number> e.g. 10.0.10.165:2020
- Click Test Connection to verify the client can connect to the server.
- Click Next and then follow the on-screen instructions.
