1. Feature Changes
1.1. Single Sign-On (SSO) for Windows and Web
This update has introduced Single Sign-On (SSO) support for the Windows and Web clients including support for electronic signatures.
This feature provides the following benefits:
- Enables staff in your organisation, to use Single Sign-On (SSO) to log in, ensuring a secure authentication that meets modern policy requirements including multi-factor authentication (MFA).
- End users can use their organisation credentials to log in to reduce or eliminate the need to remember specific passwords.
- ‘Just in Time’ provisioning can be activated, meaning that when a user signs in using Single Sign-On (SSO) the system will create a new user if they do not already exist.
Note: All users will still have a choice available to use Ideagen Quality Management Authentication, i.e. use a Ideagen Quality Management username and password, on both the Windows client and web interface.

1.2. Import Users from Excel
Users can now be imported from a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet. The template for the import is available within the Administration module and allows the benefit of self-serving your user creation.

1.3. Administration Module in the Web
Ideagen Quality Management 7.2 further expands the functionality available in the Ideagen Quality Management web client and now includes Administration functionality. This provides administrators with the benefit that they don't need to switch between Windows and Web clients when performing tasks.
Note: Ideagen Quality Management 7.2 includes QMS administration only. Message Designer and IMS functionality is only available in the Windows client.
