Accepting an Audit report
Who is this article for?Users responsible for carrying out an Audit.
Audit Accept permissions are required.
Audit reports contain a summary of all activities performed for the specific Audit. Once you have recorded all findings and answers to checklist questions, you should review and accept the Audit report.
This article shows you how you can do that.
1. Accepting report
To accept a report:
- Access the Audit module.
- Open the Audit record.
- Click the Actions button.
- Select Accept Report.
This will change the Audit status to Report Completed.
2. Clearing report acceptance
If you have accepted the Audit Report but wish to add more findings or answer further checklist questions, you will need to clear the acceptance.
To clear a report acceptance:
- Open the Audit record.
- Click the Actions button.
- Select Clear Report Acceptance.
This will change the Audit status to Performed.

To accept a report:
- Access the Audit module.
- Open the Audit record.
- Click Accept Report.
- Click Save.
This will change the Audit status to Report Completed.
2. Clearing report acceptance
If you have accepted the Audit Report but wish to add more findings or answer further checklist questions, you will need to clear the acceptance.
To clear a report acceptance:
- Open the Audit record.
- Expand the Findings section.
- Edit the Accepted On field.
- Click Clear.
- Click Save.
This will change the Audit status to Performed.
