Completing a Document change request
Who is this article for?Users responsible for Document management.
Document Manage Change Request permissions are required.
When a change request has been raised against a Document, it's important to review these. Change requests can either be accepted, with the change introduced in a new revision, or rejected, with the changes not being implemented.
This article shows you how to action a Document change request.
1. Completing a change request
To complete a change request:
- Access the Documents module.
- Select Documents.
- Open the Document record.
- Switch to the Change Requests tab.
- Click Edit in the change request row.
- Review the Details.
- Select a Status.
- Set the Implement By date.
This is the date by which the author must complete the changes. - Add the Owner.
This is the person responsible for making sure the changes are actioned. - Enter a Response Comment with feedback.
- Click OK.
- Click Save (Tick icon).

- Expand the Change Requests section.
- Double-click a change request.
- Review the Details.
- Select a Status.
- Set the Implement By date.
