This article will describe the many file formats that are supported by the Documents module withing Ideagen Quality Management Cloud Essentials. If a filetype is added to the system which is not on the list below then an error will occur. Each filetype in the table below is described by its file extension and a description as to what software or process relates to each type.
The list of supported filetypes have been split into two groups. Filetypes that are available in version 8.0.0 and later and new filetypes which were supported as part of version 8.3.0 and later.
Note: Ideagen Quality Management Cloud Documents uses a 3rd party service to convert some of the file types listed below. This is to allow for watermarks to appear on the document should this setting be enabled or for the document to be converted to PDF automatically.
