The article outlines the new features and improvements in the Ideagen Quality Management Professional 7.11.2.0 release, available from 30 October 2026.
What's changed
Ideagen Ideagen Please Review Integration (Mazlan Home Notifications)
Deepens the integration between Ideagen Quality Management Professional and Ideagen Ideagen Please Review, keeping document draft reviews in sync and reviewers informed automatically. Users are now notified in Mazlan Home when a draft review starts, completes, is due, or is overdue, with due/overdue notifications cancelled automatically once they no longer apply.
Draft reviews in Ideagen Ideagen Please Review now sync back to Ideagen Quality Management Professional on a schedule, and when a user revisits the document details page. Completed draft reviews and third-party review events are now captured in the audit log.
A new Reconciliation Report is available from the Revision History tab, allowing you to compare review data between Ideagen Ideagen Please Review and Ideagen Quality Management Professional. Draft review end dates and due dates now update correctly as a review progresses.
Audit Web Feature Parity
Audit checklist management on the Web client is now on par with the desktop client. Audit checklist templates can be imported and exported on the Web client, and users can create a new audit based on an existing one.
M2M Authentication 2.0 - Web Services
All authentication endpoints in the web service now support Machine-to-Machine (M2M) Authentication 2.0, allowing integrations and automated clients to connect to IQM Professional without user interaction, using an OAuth client-credentials bearer token. Existing integrations are unaffected; customers wanting to use M2M 2.0 will need to configure their client applications.
M2M Authentication 2.0 Offline Audit Web Service Enhancement
The Offline Audit Web Services (Audit, Managed List) now support Machine-to-Machine (M2M) Authentication 2.0, allowing automated clients to connect to IQM Professional without an interactive login. Existing integrations and the Offline Audit client are unaffected.
Mazlan Home Integrations - Notifications & User Provisioning
Strengthens the connection between Ideagen Quality Management Professional and Mazlan Home for user account sync and in-Mazlan Home notifications. IQM Professional can now send notifications to the Mazlan Home inbox with deep links to the relevant record. Login and account handling for Mazlan Home-integrated users is more consistent for archived, IdP and Cognito-based accounts. Logging out of Hub now logs a user out of Ideagen Quality Management Professional within 10 seconds. Username changes made in Hub are now applied consistently in Ideagen Quality Management Professional.
Fixes
| Reference | Description |
|---|---|
| QPL-22138 | Users without the correct confidential-fields permission could see confidential Occurrence records in the Web client. The Web client now correctly honours this permission. |
| QPL-32727 | Print permission granted dynamically via the Document Owner group did not activate, leaving Print greyed out. Fixed. |
| QPL-33183 | Print permission inherited from the Incident Owner dynamic group was not applied on the Desktop client, leaving Print greyed out. Fixed. |
| QPL-35039 | A dynamically granted permission for Supplier Account Manager was not applied when raising a Non-Conformance from the Supplier record wizard. Fixed. |
| QPL-35196 | A dynamically granted Asset Read permission was not honoured when adding an Activity within an Asset Activity Type, incorrectly showing a Protected Content error. Fixed. |
| QPL-35414 | Workload items under the People module showed completed requirements as overdue on the Web client but not on Desktop. Fixed by excluding completed requirements from the Web People workload. |
| QPL-35500 | The Web client displayed dates in US format regardless of server settings. An administration option has been added to choose the display date-time format (users must re-login for the change to apply). |
| QPL-35540 | General system slowness was experienced when saving/opening Occurrences and Incidents and when creating custom fields. Root causes including a table lock, a slow query, and an unoptimised stored procedure have been fixed to improve list and detail view loading. |
| QPL-35558 | Following a modernisation update, Web People workload actions listed completed requirements as outstanding. Fixed by excluding completed requirements from the Web People workload. |
| QPL-36135 | The Word plugin displayed dates in long format instead of the short format defined on the document record after upgrading. Fixed by separating the date-format logic. |
| QPL-36137 | Exported report designer reports contained extra rows and columns. Not reproducible in a later version; under investigation. |
| QPL-36256 | A document record's title changed automatically after check-in/check-out on the Web client, blocking check-in with an error. Fix details to be confirmed. |
| QPL-36334 | Web audit search returned fewer audits than exist after an upgrade; Desktop was unaffected. Not reproducible in the support environment; under investigation. |
| QPL-36337 | Desktop login and e-signature repeatedly prompted for multi-factor authentication after migration to Hub/Entra single sign-on. Addressed through Windows Client SSO changes restoring silent re-authentication and moving authentication to the system browser. |
| QPL-36974 | The Word plugin Active Date displayed in long date format instead of the document record's short format. Fixed using the same date-format separation fix. |
| QPL-37038 | Dashboards using the Revision data source timed out for all users with large data volumes. Addressed through performance improvement work for the dashboard data source. |
| QPL-37077 | A document search filter for an empty checkout did not match documents with no checkout record. Fixed so documents that are not checked out are correctly returned. |
| QPL-37144 | Desktop document acknowledgement requiring e-signature multi-factor authentication failed under Conditional Access policy, while Web worked correctly. Resolved through a configurable rollout with backward compatibility. |
| QPL-37216 | An intermittent server error occurred when searching Occurrences in the Desktop client. Fixed by optimising the underlying query. |
| QPL-37420 | Supplier Contact information incorrectly showed as Protected Content on the Web client even for users with full Supplier module permissions. Fixed by re-applying the correct permission check. |
| QPL-37518 | The Risk Audits tab failed when a risk was linked to a recurring (series) audit. Fixed so audits scoped to the risk load correctly. |
| QPL-37519 | Failed attachment conversions were retried indefinitely. A retry limit and a final failed state have been added so the service stops retrying unconvertible attachments. |
| QPL-37544 | A CAPA stage could still be edited and saved after the record was closed. Fixed so stages of closed CAPA records can no longer be edited. |
| QPL-37726 | Academy training records were incorrectly marked as completed for users who had not completed the Academy course. Fixed. |
| QPL-37759 | Saving or sending from the Windows client PDF viewer left placeholder tags in generated PDF documents instead of the correct values. Fixed so the saved/sent document matches what the viewer shows. |
| QPL-37836 | A sign-in error appeared on the document review system login page (with higher CPU usage) after a modernisation update, though logins still worked. Fixed. |
| QPL-38583 | The document review system showed obsolete documents because an active-status filter was dropped under certain role conditions. Fixed by re-applying the active filter per revision. |
| QPL-38665 | Searches in the document review system failed to return relevant results due to a search query handling issue. Fixed. |
| QPL-39085 | A background archival workload process failed to run due to an assembly version mismatch. Fixed by updating the dependency and adding a binding redirect. |
| QPL-39030 | After upgrading, document search was slow for users in a specific access group, though not for others. Under investigation. |
| QPL-39029 | After a modernisation update, the document review system returned obsolete, superseded and draft revisions to standard users instead of only the current approved revision; the main application was unaffected. |
