Mazlan Home

Mazlan Home is the new AI assistant home screen for Ideagen Quality Management, replacing the previous prompt-suggestion experience with a richer and more capable way to start conversations with Mazlan.

• Mazlan Home rebrand - references to Ideagen Hub in the Ideagen Quality Management navigation bar and tooltips have been updated to Mazlan Home, aligning the experience with the Mazlan AI assistant.
• Mazlan UI upgrade - the chatbot home screen has been rebuilt using the latest Mazlan Home UI, replacing the previous prompt-suggestion cards with a more modern conversational interface for starting interactions with the assistant.
• Artifact generation - Mazlan Home now supports uploading and downloading artifacts as part of supported AI workflows.
• Memory - the updated Mazlan Home experience introduces memory capabilities to support more useful ongoing interactions.
• Expanded assistants - Mazlan Home provides access to supported AI workflows across Audit, CAPA, Document, Incident, and Occurrence management, including audit scheduling and review, CAPA and Incident root cause analysis, document review, and occurrence creation and triage.

Global search enhancements

This release continues to expand Mazlan-powered Global Search, increasing the fields that can be searched and allowing users to save searches for later use.

• Expanded Occurrence and Workload search - Global Search now covers additional fields across Occurrence dynamic fields and Workload Occurrence records that were previously excluded, allowing more information to be found from a single search bar.
• Dynamic field search - users can search against Occurrence dynamic fields by including the field name in their natural-language query. For example, searching for "show me occurrences where Chemical Type field is Acid" searches against the specified dynamic field.
• Saved searches - users can save searches from the Global Search bar or search results page and return to them later without re-entering the same criteria.
• Saved search limit - each user can keep up to 15 saved searches. Once the limit is reached, an existing saved search must be deleted before another can be saved.

Dynamic field searches

The dynamic field name must be included in the search query. If the field name isn't included, Global Search searches the standard Occurrence module fields instead. If a dynamic field isn't identified successfully, refine the query using terms such as "occurrence", "field", or "dynamic field".

CAPA AI improvements

Mazlan-assisted CAPA creation has been refined to make creating and investigating corrective and preventive actions faster and better aligned with each organisation's configured fields.

• Faster CAPA creation - Mazlan now collects required fields together in a single prompt instead of requesting them one at a time, reducing the number of steps required to create a CAPA.
• Improved custom field recognition - Mazlan can better recognise tenant-specific custom field labels across the CAPA, Audit, Occurrence, and Incident modules.
• Fishbone root cause analysis - users can now choose Fishbone analysis alongside 5 Whys when investigating a CAPA. Mazlan guides the user through root cause categories including People, Process, Equipment, Materials, Environment, and Management.
