This article outlines the solution changes, enhancements, and fixes that have been implemented in the v7.11.0.0 release, available from 31 July 2026.

This version continues the rollout of Mazlan, extending AI-powered capabilities into the Incidents and Occurrences, Documents, and Audit modules, introducing a new Mazlan-powered global search, and delivering a range of platform improvements and fixes.

Mazlan AI

Incident and Occurrence modules

This release brings Mazlan AI into the Incident and Occurrence modules end-to-end, letting users create, triage, and investigate records conversationally instead of through forms.

• Guided occurrence creation - Mazlan presents the available report types for the user to select (it doesn't infer the type), collects mandatory fields either one at a time or from a free-text description, and shows a summary for review before creating the record.
• Incident creation from occurrences - users can accept an occurrence as a new incident, close it as a standard event, or reject it, directly through the agent. Incidents can also be created by linking straight to an existing occurrence.
• Stage and workflow setup guidance - Mazlan checks existing template stages or recommends relevant stage types, always confirming with the user before creating or updating anything.
• Guided root cause analysis - a 5 Whys walkthrough helps identify root cause, with recommended corrective/preventive actions recorded to the investigation stage on confirmation.
• Associate an existing CA/PA to incident stage findings - investigation outcomes can be linked straight to a CA/PA without leaving the conversation.
• Read and search skills - Mazlan can look up incidents and occurrences via OData and full-detail search, respecting each user's permissions.

Audit module

Mazlan AI is extended into Audit management, alongside a new foundational checklist template feature it builds on top of:

• Conversational audit creation - users can create an audit through the agent instead of the standard form.
• Auditor assignment recommendation - Mazlan suggests suitable auditors for an audit based on configured criteria.
• Audit briefing pack generation - Mazlan assembles a briefing pack for an upcoming audit automatically.
• Checklist proposal and generation - checklist questions can be proposed and generated directly into a template by the agent.
• Checklist impact assessment - Mazlan can assess the existing checklist template based on latest Standard updates from IRI Corpus.
• Audit review - Mazlan can assist with reviewing a completed audit execution.

Global search

A new natural-language Global Search lets users find records across IQMP modules from a single search bar instead of searching module by module:

• Natural-language search - covers Audit, Supplier, Asset, Training, Customer, Person, CA/PA, Incident/Occurrence, Document and Workload records, backed by OData plus vector (semantic) search.
• Suggested queries and surfaced filters - Mazlan can propose search suggestions and shows which filtering criteria it applied, so results aren't a black box.
• New search experience states - dedicated UI for the homebar search bar, empty state, processing state, and ambiguous/no-result state.
• Enable/disable toggle - Global Search AI can be turned on or off per organisation.
• Permission-aware results - search results respect each user's existing module permissions.

Document review

Document owners can now trigger a Mazlan-assisted periodic review directly from their Workload, or from the document details page. The agent runs a full Ideagen Quality Management health check on the document - open CRs, NCRs, and Incidents - and, where the document has standards associated via related standards, also runs an IRI regulatory-change assessment.

The owner reviews the combined findings, confirms an outcome (No Change Required or Change Required), and Mazlan records the review in Ideagen Quality Management on their behalf.

Where a change is required and a material IRI finding is present, Mazlan also flags other documents the owner may need to review under the same standard.

Web feature parity

Checklist template management

The checklist template management feature is now surfaced to the Web client to support the Mazlan AI Audit feature. Users are now able to view the checklist template register, perform CRUD, and reorder questions (move/promote/demote) in the Web client.

Dashboards

Training module data source

The Training module is now available as a data source when building dashboards. Training data sources are available as follows when configuring dashboard widgets:

• Training - core training records and assignments
• Training Events - scheduled and completed training events
• Competencies - competency records linked to users and roles

This addition allows building dashboards that surface Training metrics alongside data from other modules, providing a more complete view of quality and compliance activity in a single dashboard.

Additional improvements

A set of platform reliability and performance improvements, alongside a couple of fixes still in progress:

• Reduced Windows client connectivity polling - the Windows client's Data Portal connectivity check interval has been increased from 2 seconds to 30 seconds, cutting background HTTP traffic on the Data Portal IIS site significantly.
• Academy Events performance improvements in the Web client - reduced redundant API calls, optimised completed-event checks to query specific records instead of loading all training events into memory, and skip unnecessary database saves when nothing changed.
• Windows client Single Sign-On (SSO) silent re-authentication restored - users no longer need to repeatedly re-enter credentials on the normal Cognito login path following the Mazlan Home SSO migration.
