Visualising data by department

The CA/PA module prompt allows you to break down data by the department the record is raised against. 

To access the CA/PA data visualisation:

1. Open Mazlan.
2. Enter the prompt to visualise CAPA data by department.
3. Review the generated chart showing the breakdown of issues raised against each department.

Note

The visualisation displays data from the CAPA module only. Ensure your CAPA records are up to date for accurate reporting.

Comparing year-on-year data

An additional prompt splits the CAPA information into two separate charts for year-on-year comparison. This allows you to track trends and measure improvement over time.

To generate year-on-year comparison charts:

1. Use the year-on-year comparison prompt in Mazlan.
2. Review the two charts displaying data for consecutive years.
3. Compare departmental performance across the time periods to identify trends.

These charts show if corrective and preventive actions are reducing issues over time, highlighting which departments are improving and which need more support. They also reveal two reasons for low or missing data: inconsistent reporting or departments running efficiently with few issues.
