You can perform Reaction Time Analysis by selecting:

• the Reaction Time radio button on the Analysis Scope tile on the Analysis Screen

Each defined Reaction Time metric comprises:

• Data Field

• Calculated Dimension

• Summary Result (Count)

You can also filter by Date Field by selecting either:

• Raised Date or

• Closed Date

Performing Trend Analysis

By performing Trend Analysis, you can graph Non-Conformances over a single time period broken down into date groupings such as by Month by Year etc. This form of analysis is useful for both analysing past performance and for future prediction.

Alternatively performance over one or more time periods may be compared.

Performing a Time Period Breakdown Analysis

A Time Period Breakdown Analysis is performed by:

1. Selecting the row or cell value of interest (the analysis will focus on this data by filtering on it)

2. Then choosing 'Trend' and 'Time Period Breakdown' from the Actions menu, alternatively use the 'Trend' toolbar button  or access the command by right-clicking over the grid

3. In the list of fields presented, choose a data field, the list of fields will differ depending on whether a one or two dimensional grid is being used and on the current selection i.e. row or cell

The Trend Analysis options screen will be presented.

4. Choose the time period on which the analysis will be based (this will become the new Analysis range)

5. Choose the Breakdown value, e.g. months or year, and then the Summarise by value

6. Click the [OK] button

The result will be shown in a new screen and no further Trend or Drill Analysis may be performed on it.

Performing a Time Period Comparison Analysis

A Time Period Comparison Analysis is performed by:

1. Selecting the row or cell value of interest (the analysis will focus on this data by filtering on it)

2. Then choosing 'Trend' and 'Compare Periods' from the Actions menu, alternatively use the 'Trend' toolbar button  or access the command by right-clicking over the grid

3. In the list of fields presented, choose a data field, the list of fields will differ depending on whether a one or two dimensional grid is being used and on the current selection i.e. row or cell

The Trend Analysis options screen will be presented.

4. Define the date ranges to be compared using the Add/Edit and Remove Commands to Add new Time Periods or Edit and Remove existing periods

5. Click the [OK] button

The result will be shown in a new screen and no further Trend or Drill Analysis may be performed on it.
