1. Pre-requisites for Ideagen Quality Management
Ideagen Quality Management requires the Web Services APIs to be installed and configured with an API User account. You can download the installation files for the Web Services here: Ideagen Quality Management API Web-Service Download Centre
You must make access to the Web Services available over the internet. It is advisable to configure the Web Services to use HTTPS. Your IT department should be able to achieve this. When this has been configured, you need the external address to the following location: YOUR SERVER/QPulse5WebServices/Services
2. Pre-requisites for Ideagen Quality Management Risk
Your Ideagen Quality Management Risk account must have the Ideagen Quality Management integration features enabled. If you have logged in to Ideagen Quality Management Risk as an Administrator and don't see the "Configure Ideagen Quality Management Integration" option mentioned in the step below, please contact us and we can enable this feature.
3. Configuring Ideagen Quality Management Risk
3.1 Integration Configuration
- Log in to Ideagen Quality Management Risk with Administrator privileges.
- Navigate to the Admin menu in the top right-hand corner.
- Select Configure Ideagen Quality Management Integration.
- Click on Create new integration button.
- Fill in the following fields:
- Friendly Name: Provide a name for this integration connection.
- Ideagen Quality Management Web Service API Url: Enter the URL to your Ideagen Quality
- Management server Web Services (configured in the pre-requisites).
- Press the Lookup button to test the Web Service URL and retrieve a list of available databases.
- Database: Select the database you wish to integrate with.
- API Credentials: Enter the Username and Password for the API User account in Q-pulse.
- Click Create Configuration to save the configuration.
3.2 Integration Setup for Risk
- Open the Administration module on the Ideagen Quality Management Launchpad.
- Navigate to Branding and Integration.
- Within Branding and Integration, access Risk Integration Settings.
- Enter your Tenant Name.
Note: That you only need to enter your risk name without the full URL; the https:// and the .gaelrisk.com part is already added.
Example: If your test Risk URL is https://woody.gaelrisk.com, enter "Woody" in the Tenant Name field.
- Save the settings.
