Configuring Reminder and Escalation Digest emails
Who is this article for?
Administrators responsible for configuring system emails.
Administration module access is required.
When enabled, the system typically sends Reminder and Escalation emails for each Action that is due or overdue. This can often result in a high volume of emails, which can become overwhelming for users.
Sometimes, emails might come from the training database. You can verify this by hovering your mouse over the URL in the email.
To address this, users can opt to receive a consolidated digest email instead. When enabled, users will receive a single email summarising all their due or overdue Actions.
This article shows you where you can enable the option to opt into Digest emails.
Please note: Escalation emails, including the digest, are triggered by the escalation service schedule, which is configured at the application server level rather than within the product interface.To confirm your schedule, please reach out to the appropriate team:

1. Configuring the Digest
To configure the Digest:
- Access the Administration module.
- Select Customisation.
- Choose Reminder & Escalation.
- Click Message Digest.
- Tick Enabled.
- Click OK.
Once enabled, the system will only send out two emails to a user:

Escalations, containing a list of all the messages
that
have been escalated to you.
For each Action, you can see its details, owner, and the number of days overdue. -
Reminders, containing a list of outstanding Actions
where you have been named specifically as a recipient.

1. Configuring the Digest

- Access the Administration module.
- Select Reminder & Escalation (under Customisation).
- Choose Reminder & Escalation.
- Tick Enabled.
