How to Add Languages to the Ideagen Quality Management Spell Check

Ideagen Quality Management includes a dictionary file which is used to perform a spell check when using the system. This will use the English dictionary by default but additional dictionaries can be installed.

1. How to Download the Dictionary Archive
The full dictionary archive can be downloaded from the bottom of this article or by clicking here.
The archive includes dictionary files for:
- English (UK)
- English (US)
- English (Canada)
- English (Australia)
- English (New Zealand)
- English (South Africa)
- French
- German (Germany)
- German (Austria)
- German (Switzerland)
- Spanish
- Italian
- Icelandic
- Dutch
- Welsh
2. How to Install the Dictionary
The steps required to change the Ideagen Quality Management dictionary will change depending on how you have deployed the client.
This can be:
2.1. Standard Windows Installation
- Extract the downloaded dictionary file into the Dictionaries folder under your Ideagen Quality Management Client folder. By default, this will be:
- Remove unused dictionary file pairs from the Dictionaries folder.
2.2. Cients Deployed Using ClickOnce
To change the dictionary for clients deployed using ClickOnce, please review How to Change the Ideagen Quality Management Dictionary via ClickOnce.
3. How to Use the Dictionary
If you have multiple dictionaries, you must select the new dictionary in the "International dictionaries" screen.
To do this:
- Log in to Ideagen Quality Management.
- On the LaunchPad click on Preferences, and then Spell Check Options.
- Select the dictionary you require.
