Administration permissions are required.

When trying to reinstate a locked-out user in Q-Pulse by enabling login and resetting the password, the following error message appears:

“Combination of Forename, Middle Name and Surname is not unique in system”

This error occurs even though only one visible entry for the user exists in the system. It typically happens when a duplicate record exists in the form of an archived user, disabled account, or named person.

1. Solution

To resolve this issue, follow these steps:

1. Identify if the user has multiple active accounts with the same details.
2. Update one of the accounts with a different details to eliminate the conflict.

2. Searching for archived accounts

1. Go to the Administration Module
2. Navigate to Security, then to People
3. Uncheck the [Show Users Only] box
4. Check the [Show Archived Accounts] box

5. Enter the Name in the [Keywords] box
6. Click Apply
