Building ad-hoc reports using Current View allows users to:

1. Build a specific query
2. Add Nested Groups
3. Customise the columns displayed
4. Printing the Report

This provides a quick and easy way to generate customised reports, without using Report Designer.


Building Your Search

1. You can filter the data contained within the report based on Register, or by creating an Advanced Search.

Nested Groups

1. Once you have retrieved your data from your search you can then insert additional information in the form of Nested Groups
2. This allows selected information from the Detail Report to be brought into the List Report
3. Too add a Nested Group, click [View], then [View Nested]

 

Customising the Columns Displayed

1. Columns can be added or removed by Right Clicking the Column Header

Previewing your Report

1. To preview your report prior to printing by clicking File > Preview
2. Select the Current View radio button
