| No Auto Re-Assignment of Document Authors | The assigned author of a document can no longer be changed to a new author. This ensures that documents can no longer be assigned to users who did not write them originally. | |
| Improved Sorting on Analysis Report Pivot Grid | Printing analysis graphs now show the graph order as opposed to alphabetical. | |
| Supplier Messaging | This feature ensures that e-mails are no longer sent to suppliers who have been archived. | |
| Improved Security Model | A dynamic security model is introduced to control system security. This ensures that there is no back-end security cache that could cause delays in the visibility of records. | |
| Active Directory Integration | Instead of using common name to authenticate users, Ideagen Quality Management now queries the SAM account name. | |

| 6.1 | Plugin for Microsoft Office | Allows users an easier upkeep of key information relating to the document. As soon as a field has been added, it will automatically sync with the Ideagen Quality Management record. |
| Saving Documents Directly Into Ideagen Quality Management | When writing a document, it is now possible to save the document directly into Ideagen Quality Management. This is a process which will launch the Ideagen Quality Management wizard and gather the required information and then save the document directly into the Ideagen Quality Management document module. | |
| Document Viewer and Enhanced Security | The Document Viewer is a built-in viewer that will show the attached document without the need to open it in a third-party product. | |
| Convert to PDF | A document can be exported to a PDF during the activation process, removing the need to attach two document attachments and apply and index. | |
| Notify Only Distribution | In the past, when distributing a document, copyholders had to acknowledge receipt of the document. The notify only distribution allows users to be notified of document availability and granted access without the need to perform an acknowledgement. | |
| Archive an Asset | Assets that no longer needed can be archived under the Administration Module’s Managed Lists. | |
| E-Mail Digest | A message digest was introduced that collates all of reminder and escalation e-mails. This includes a link to launch Ideagen Quality Management and the Ideagen Quality Management Web interface. | |
| Improved Document Reviews | Document reviews can now be performed by multiple users, with various outcomes suggested by each reviewer. | |
| Electronic Signatures for People & Training | Electronic signatures have been introduced to ensure that the person who is performing a key action, such as approving a document or closing an audit is the person who is logged into the system. | |
| EASA No. 376/2014 Compliance | Aviation customers can now submit to ECCAIRS. This is in line with EASA legislation changes. | |
| Raising Incidents from Audit in Offline Audit | Admins now can choose whether audit non-conformances were raised in the CA/PA or Incident modules. The API’s for both Offline Audit and the Auditing iPad have been extended to replicate this functionality. | |

| Raising an Incident as an Audit Finding | Audit has been expanded to include the ability to raise an Incident record as a finding. This provides the ability to risk assess the finding in order to determine the correct workflow to be followed. | |
| Integration with Gael Academy | Gael Academy can now be integrated into Ideagen Quality Management, in order to import Academy courses as master events, assigned as requirements and to track user’s progress through the Academy. | |
| Integration with Gael Risk | The ability to connect with Gael Risk has been introduced which ensures to schedule risk assessments for records held in Gael Risk via the Audit functionality of Ideagen Quality Management. | |
| Improved Performance in the Document and CA/PA module | Major changes have been applied in the Documents and CA/PA modules within Ideagen Quality Management which reduce the time taken for data to be returned to the user. This functionality has also been extended to the Incident Stages & Action register. |

| Navigate to a Person’s Record from Training Details | Within a training course record, attendees shown in the Attendee section will now act as a hyperlink, providing a quick way to access the person’s record. | |
| Navigate to a Master Event Document or Academy Course | The Event Title field of training records based on a Document record now act as a hyperlink to open the document record directly. This feature also works in conjunction with the new feature that lets you train users on documents with a “draft approved” status. |

| Localisation of the Web Reporting Portal | The Web Reporting Portal is Gael’s dynamic way to submit Occurrence records from various devices and systems. The Web Reporting Portal can now be used in four different languages: French, Italian, Spanish and English. |
