Configuring Person Record Holder permissions
Who is this article for?Administrators responsible for user management.
Administration module access is required.
System security is based around the permissions that can be added directly, or inherited based on a user's membership of a group or relationship to the record.
This article shows you how to allow users to view their Person Record and provide managers with access to their reports' Person Records.
1. Updating security groups
There are two dynamic groups you need to update, Person Record Holder and Person Manager.
To grant a user access to the individual record, assign the Person Read permission to the Person Record Holder group.
To grant a manager access to the team records, assign the Person... permissions to the Person Manager group.
2. Updating reporting structure
Once you have updated the dynamic groups, you need to specify which users report to the manager.
You can only modify the reporting structure in the Windows Client.
