Configuring electronic signatures

Administration module access is required.
Electronic signatures are a way of ensuring that the user has understood the work they have completed or the activity they have performed. It uses system credentials, acting in the same way as a physical signature, and is needed to meet the criteria of Code of Federal Regulations, Title 21 (CFR21 Part 11).
This article shows you where to configure them.
1. Enabling electronic signatures
To enable electronic signatures:
- Open the Administration module.
- Select Security.
- Choose Signature Management.
- Edit the task you would like to enable them for.
- Tick Signature Point is active.
- Edit Meaning text as needed.
This is the custom declaration that will be displayed when asking the user to sign. - Click Save (Tick icon).
2. Signature-enabled tasks
Electronic signatures can be enabled for the below tasks:

To enable electronic signatures:
- Open the Administration module.
- Select Signature Management (under Security).
- Highlight the task you would like to enable them for.
- Click Edit....
- Tick Signature Point is active.
- Edit Meaning text as needed.
