How to Access CA/PA Wizards on the LaunchPad

No specific permissions are required.
CA/PA records can be raised from wizards in order to guide the user on what details need to be submitted.
If you have some wizards that you use more than others then you can add these to your LaunchPad for easy access.
This article outlines the steps required to add the CA/PA wizards to your LaunchPad and is split into two sections:
1. Add a Wizard to Your LaunchPad
Important Note: This configuration is a personal configuration for your LaunchPad only. Once set, the wizard will only be available to you from the LaunchPad and other users will need to carry out the same steps to update their personal configuration.
To add a wizard to your LaunchPad:
- Launch Ideagen Quality Management and open the Account menu, and click Preferences.
- Select LaunchPad and then open the Panel tab.
- Select CA/PA from the drop down menu.
- Browse to “Raise new records via wizards” and check the box for any wizards you need to access from the LaunchPad.
- Click OK.
2. Add a Wizard to Improvement Ideas
CA/PA wizards can also be added to the Improvement Ideas menu at the top of the LaunchPad. The purpose of this menu is to provide a place for employees to submit feedback to the organisation or raise new ideas that can be managed through the CA/PA workflow.
Note: This menu is also referred to as the Tell Me menu as it is designed to allow users to submit information to the business.
To add a wizard to the Improvement Ideas menu:
- Launch Ideagen Quality Management and open the Account menu, and click Preferences.
- Select LaunchPad and then open the General tab.
- Select CA/PA from the drop down menu.
- Browse to "Display the following wizards t 'Tell Me'" section and check the box for any wizards you need to access from the Improvement Ideas menu.
- Click OK.
No wizards available? Ask your Ideagen Quality Management administrator to double check they've made the wizard available in the Improvement Ideas section. This can be done by editing the wizard design and checking Improvement Ideas in the Availability section.
