Configuring Audit Calendar Types to Allow Incident Findings
To configure Ideagen Quality Management to allow Incidents to be raised from an Audit record, the following steps must be completed:
Enable Audit Finding Wizard
Within the Incidents module, you must choose which risk matrices can be used when performing risk assessments on audit findings. You must also choose which workflow template will be applied to the incident, depending on the outcome of the risk assessment.
To configure matrices and workflows:
- Access the Incident module
- Navigate to [EDIT] and select [Audit Finding Wizard...]
- Populate the [Enabled] check box
- Within [Enabled Risk Matrices], select a valid Risk Matrix from the drop-down menu. Note: Multiple risk matrices can be checked
- Within [Template Assignments], assign a valid Incident checklist to each of the matrix result bandings. If you have added multiple risk matrices in the section above, click the tabs to edit each matrix with a valid set of Incident Templates
Edit the Audit Calendar managed list
Next, you must edit the Audit Calendar managed list to choose which audit types will allow incidents to be raised.
To enable incidents to be raised from specific audits:
- Navigate to the Administration module
- Navigate to the [Managed Lists] window
- Select "Audit Calendar" from the list of available managed list values and open it
- Highlight the Audit Calendar value you require and select [Edit...]
- Within the "Edit Managed List Value" window, navigate to the [Non-Conformance Findings] section
- Check the radio button labelled "Incident module", as shown above.
- Select [OK] to save the changes
Note: Once this option is checked, users will no longer be able to raise CA/PA findings against this Audit Calendar type.
