Using the Ideagen Quality Management Mobile App
Who is this article for?
Users who want to access their items using the mobile application.
Server access is required.
With the Ideagen Quality Management app, you can review your assigned Tasks, acknowledge Documents, and sync the changes to the main system while on the go. This article walks you through how to configure and navigate the app.
1. Configuring the app
To configure the app, you will need to specify your server endpoint URL in the app settings. These fields are available to users who need to use a local IP/server name while the device is connected to the company network and an external IP address/server name when they are not.
When you open the app, you will be asked for your:
- Server URL: The URL for your Ideagen Quality Management Professional API services.
- Audit Server URL: The URL for your Ideagen Quality Management Professional Audit web services.
The format of these URLs will vary depending on whether Ideagen Quality Management is self-hosted or hosted by Ideagen.
Self-hosted
- Server URL: http://<serverIPaddress>:<port>/QPulse5WebServices/services
- Audit Sever URL: http://<serverIPaddress>:<port>/QPulse5OfflineAuditServer
Please note, if your server has been configured with SSL then the URL will be https instead of http.
Unsure what your port number is?
You only need to include the port number if your IT have configured the Ideagen Quality Management servers to operate on their own ports. Check with your IT department to confirm.
Hosted by Ideagen
- Server URL: https://{GNUMBER}.ideagenqpulse.com/QPulse5WebServices/Services
- Audit Sever URL: https://{GNUMBER}.ideagenqpulse.com/QPulse5OfflineAuditServer
If only one of the two links is entered, the feature will work independently from the other.
