This article outlines the solution changes, enhancements, and fixes that have been implemented in the v7.10 release, available from 30 April 2026.
This version marks a significant milestone for Ideagen Quality Management • Professional, delivering the first release of Mazlan AI. Mazlan is now embedded within the system, offering CA/PA root cause analysis, CA/PA creation and action recommendations are available now, with more capabilities coming soon.
1. Features
Mazlan launches for the CA/PA module
Mazlan is now embedded within Ideagen Quality Management. Root cause analysis, CA/PA creation and action recommendations are available now, with more capabilities coming soon.
In this release you can experience:
- Conversational guided CA/PA creation
- Structured 5 Whys root cause analysis with findings saved directly to the Investigation Details field
- Industry-informed action recommendations created in Ideagen Quality Management Professional with user confirmation
- Natural language search across historical CA/PAs with insights and visualisations
All AI actions require explicit user confirmation before any record is created or updated.
To access Mazlan AI, you must be on the modernised platform and have completed Hub integration. Mazlan rollout to eligible customers will begin in the first week of June.

Hub Integration enhancement update username with email
Currently, Ideagen Quality Management • Professional allows usernames to be alphanumeric but not in email format. To align with Hub requirements, existing Ideagen Quality Management Professional usernames now allow use of your email address.
Hub Migration Tool improvements
The Hub Migration Tool has been enhanced with the following improvements:
- Improved logging, multi-database prioritisation, and more reliable user matching during data migration
- Tool accepts JSON files as input and no longer requires an AWS secret name to run
- Tool is updated to strip null bytes and non-printable control characters from all exported user fields during CSV export
Previously, these characters could cause unreadable or malformed data in the migration output. The fix is applied defensively across all fields, with warnings logged when characters are removed to help CloudOps trace the source of any bad data.
Configurable Windows Client redirect URL
Previously, the Windows Client SSO redirect URL was hardcoded and could only be changed through a code update. Administrators can now view and edit this URL directly from the Administration page in both the Web and Windows clients.
For new setups with no prior SSO configuration, the field defaults to https://qpulseapp.
Important
You are required to fill in this value in your SSO Provider site as well.
For existing setups, it will be pre-populated with the current value from the existing SSO configuration.
The field is only available when Multi tenant SSO is off, and applies to Cognito, PingOne, and Okta providers. It is not shown for Microsoft Entra ID (AzureAD) as redirect URLs are handled automatically by Microsoft's authentication library.
Enhanced Web user experience for the Document Viewer
You can now open documents in a new tab for full-screen, distraction-free viewing. This currently supports PDF, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint documents.
Note
For password-protected documents, the document must be unlocked in the document viewer existing view first before opening in full screen.
Dashboard Views performance improvement
DataView mode is now supported on three additional default dashboards: CA/PA Stages/CA/PA Actions, Document Approval, and Document Reviews. This allows you to analyse data more efficiently with improved dashboard performance, with no impact to existing functionality.
Login and session management in React
The Login page in the Web client has been rebuilt using React, replacing the previous DevExpress implementation. This is part of Ideagen Quality Management Professional's ongoing platform modernisation to align with the Helix Design System and improve frontend technology across the application.
There are no changes to the UI or login functionality, everything remains the same.

3. Known issues
Document Viewer image files distortion in full screen view
There is a known issue that image files (PNG, JPG, GIF) may display with aspect ratio distortion in full-screen view. Image support is being improved in an upcoming release.
Occurrence List View - Dynamic Field Managed List sort and filter not working in old world
Unable to perform sorting or filtering of dynamic fields Managed List in the Occurrence list view. This affects any Managed List dynamic field columns added to the register view via the column chooser. Other dynamic field types are not affected by this issue.
This only happens in old world. It works fine in new world (modernised environment).
