Ideagen Quality Management 7.9.0.1 is a product update that includes improvements to Workload quick actions, notifications, dashboards, and several fixes previously deployed in hotfix releases.
1. Features
Notification triggers for Workload quick actions
This release enhances the Workload quick actions feature introduced in version 7.9, by adding notification capabilities. Users will now receive notifications for actions completed through quick actions, provided notifications are enabled for those workloads.

Notification enhancements
To enhance user experience, we are adding the Workload link into all the workload-related notifications (Messaging/Reminders/Escalation) in CAPA and Document modules.
This will enable users to navigate directly to the Workload Register page, where they will be see all their assigned workloads and complete tasks seamlessly via the Quick Action panel.
Dashboard enhancements
This release introduces Document Related Department as a new data source in the dashboard.
Users will be able to leverage this data source to build custom dashboards that provide greater flexibility and streamlined access to department-related document information.

3. Known issues
There are a few known issues relating to Single Sign-On that we are working on resolving in future releases.
SSO configuration behaviour changes
Legacy SSO setup
This affects setups with single SSO settings per database.
When updating your SSO Client ID or adding a new SSO configuration in the administrative page, you must now recycle the QPulseWebClient application pool on your server for changes to take effect. This is a new requirement to ensure SSO configurations load correctly.
Multi-tenant SSO setup
This affects setups with multiple SSO settings shared across all databases.
No change to existing behavior. SSO settings continue to be managed through the ssosettings.xml file on the server, and a service restart remains required when this file is updated.
SSO configuration limits
To ensure optimal application performance and stability, a maximum of 25 unique SSO configurations can be active simultaneously. This limit applies to both legacy SSO environments and multi-tenant SSO environments.
Exceeding this limit may result in application instability due to high memory and CPU usage.
