This article explains why some attachments are not accessible in the Viewer tab inside a document record.

1. Issue

When trying to open an attachment in the Viewer tab, you see the message: "Attachment is not viewable as its size exceeded the limit."

This is because the attachment is bigger than the file size limit for the tool:

• PDF files: 10 MB
• Text files (TXT): 10 MB
• Images: 5 MB

2. Solution

To resolve the issue, reupload the attachment that is smaller than the file size limit for its format.
