Setting up a checklist template
Who is this article for?Users responsible for managing audit checklists.
Edit Checklist Templates permissions are required.
A checklist template is a collection of related questions that are to be asked during the audit process.
These questions can be added from the 'Question Bank' or can be created/edited in the 'Manage Checklist Template Screen'.
To access the screen; within the Audit module, click 'Edit' and select 'Checklist Templates'.
From this screen users can:
- Double-click any existing checklist to edit its questions
- Create a new checklist from scratch by clicking 'New' then 'Checklist Template'
- Use the contents of an existing template by selecting the existing template in the list, then click 'New', then 'Checklist Template Based On'.
- Each checklist should have a title and can also have a description to assist the auditor
- Users can add questions/headers to the checklist by either type directly into the text box and click 'Enter' or click
to add a header or drag questions from the question bank.
- The green arrows can be used to adjust the order of the questions.
- To convert a question into a section header: double-click the question and tick 'Mark as Section Header'
