IT Administrator permissions are required.

As most modules and features have been transitioned to the Web client, you can now turn your Windows client into a lightweight alternative that houses only administration features.

This mode is turned off by default.

This article walks you through how you can disable or re-enable Admin Console mode.

1. Available modes

There are two modes available.

Full mode retains access to all existing features of the Windows client and can be utilised by users.

Admin mode hides all features except the Administration module and can be utilised by administrators.

2. Changing mode

To change the mode:

1. Access the server.
2. Open QPulseService.exe.Config.
   By default, this is located at C:\Program Files (x86)\Gael Ltd\Q-Pulse Server.
3. Find the WindowsAdminMode key.
4. Change the value to either True (on) or False (off).
5. Restart the Q-Pulse Service.
