No elevated permissions are required.
Ideagen Quality Management 7.6.2.2 is a maintenance update that includes targeted fixes focusing on our support for Okta authentication.
1. Key issues fixed
Issue: QPL-29483
The Word Plugin and Win Client ClickOnce could not be digitally signed after transitioning to new Code Signing Certificates obtained from Azure Key Vault. This issue arose because signing these components required using MAGE, which is incompatible with the Azure Sign Tool.
Resolution
The problem was resolved by creating a custom MAGE tool that retrieves certificates from Azure Key Vault and signs the deployment manifest.
Issue: QPL-29568
When the Win Client WebView2 launches the SSO provider authentication page, it creates a new directory named 'EBWebView'. However, users may lack the necessary read/write permissions for this directory, potentially causing access issues.
Resolution
To avoid potential access issues due to insufficient read/write permissions, the 'EBWebView' folder is relocated to the user-specific directory: C:\Users\{username}\AppData\Roaming\IQMPWinClient.
