Ideagen Quality Management 7.6 is an update that includes a series of feature updates and fixes, including major improvements to Web functionality.
1. Features
Modules
Supplier module is now in Web with its essential key features, allowing you to access and maintain recorded Supplier information.
Customer module is now in Web, helping you maintain existing users' customer information.
Asset module on Web continues feature parity with the Windows client, with these additional features:
- Creating Assets based on existing ones
- Raising Non-Conformances via Wizard against an Asset
- Report printing
- Nested views in the Register list
- Custom labels
DRS and Web Reporting Single Sign-On (SSO)
SSO
We extended the SSO capability to be available in both DRS and Web Reporting that supports third party SSO provider. Authentication details set in Authentication settings will be reflected in DRS and Web Reporting respectively.
UI Rebranding
We unified the solution look and feel by changing the name from "Q-Pulse" to "Ideagen Quality Management", and restyling our logo and theme to match the Ideagen brand. This rebranding applies to DRS and Web Reporting.
Multi Database
We extended the Multi Database to Web Reporting. A new flag is introduced in the web config file to allow users to enable Single or Multi DB.
DRS Document Link
We are preparing for Multi Database support for DRS with an enhancement that appends the database name in the Document Link (Deeplink).
Disabling native logins
We introduced a feature that disables the native login option, enhancing security for hosted customers who mainly use SSO authentication services.
This feature operates by concealing the native login option on the front-end for both Windows and Web, preventing users from logging in with their native credentials.
However, the user's credentials remain active within the system, and other services can still utilise these native credentials, such as the Audit Log Viewer, API User, Reminder and Escalation Service, Messaging User, Document Retrieval Service (anonymous login), and Web Reporting Portal (auto-login).
Incident report printing
Incident report
This functionality enables user to print the Incidents details from Incident module. It will appear as a report in table form whereby the incident details are populated in the table.
The report printing functionality is available in the:
- Incident Register list, allowing for printing of Current View or Choose a Report views.
- Incident Record page, allowing for printing of Choose a Report view.
Incident Actions report
This functionality enables user to print the Incident Action details from Incident module. It will appear as a report in table form whereby the Incident Action details are populated in the table.
The report printing functionality is available in the:
- Incident Action Register list, allowing for printing of Current View or Choose a Report views.
Incident Stage report
This functionality enables user to print the Incident Stage details from Incident module. It will appear as a report in table form whereby the Incident Stage details are populated in the table.
The report printing functionality is available in the:
- Incident Stage Register list, allowing for printing of Current View and Choose a Report views.
Occurrence report printing

- Occurrence Register list, allowing for printing of Current View and Choose a Report views.
- Occurrence Record page, allowing for printing of Choose a Report view.
SSO credentials for Electronic Signatures
We removed the need to reenter full authentication details when using Electronic Signing for users logging in with SSO, requiring only the password and MFA key (if MFA is enabled).
This feature is controlled by a flag in Administration module, where checking the ‘Remember credentials for Electronic Signing’ checkbox under Single-Sign On section will activate this ease of use feature.
Users will still be required to enter their full credentials for every first e-signing in each user session.
The functionality maintains compliance with 21CFR § 11.200 of Non-Biometric Electronic Signatures, where during a single, continuous period of controlled system access, the first signing must use all electronic signature components. Subsequent signings can use at least one component specific to the individual.
(Web) Azure US Government SSO compatibility
We made enhancements to be able to support SSO on Azure US Government, as different settings and configurations are required.
(Web) Deactivating/reinstating documents
We brought the ability to deactivate and reinstate Documents from Web.
You can now deactivate a Document from the Active Document register list or record, and reactivate a Document from the Obsolete/Inactive register list or record.
Reinstated document will be distributed among Copyholders and people under ‘Notified Only'. They will be alerted and notified as well. When a Document is reinstated, the Document Owner, Copyholders, and Individuals under 'Notified Only' will receive email notification on the action.
(Web) Displaying local Date/Time
We introduced a 'Display local date/time' feature at the top of the view to allow for all date/time fields to list values according to your device's time zone settings.
(Web) Small screen compatibility for Document Viewer
We made an enhancement that allows the Document viewer section to expand to its full width and be centred, with the pagination featuring scrollbar accessibility.
