Raising findings against an Audit
Who is this article for?Users responsible for carrying out Audits.
Auditor permissions are required.
Findings allow you to highlight important points identified during an Audit. There are two types of findings - observations and non-conformances.
Observations may not require further action and can only be found in the Audit. Non-conformances require further action and can be managed in either the CA/PA or Incidents module.
This article walks you through the process of raising each of the findings.
1. Raising an observation
To raise an observation:
- Access the Audit module.
- Open the Audit record.
- Switch to the Findings tab.
- Click Edit (Pencil icon).
- Click Add Observation.
- Add Observation Details.
- Click OK.
- Click Save (Tick icon).
2. Raising a non-conformance
To raise a non-conformance:
- Access the Audit module.
- Open the Audit record.
- Switch to the Findings tab.
- Click Edit (Pencil icon).
- Open the Actions menu.
- Click Raise Non-Conformance.
You can also choose to raise one from template or wizard.
- Add the non-conformance Source.
- Enter Details.
- Fill out optional fields.
- Click OK.
- Click Save (Tick icon).

- Expand the Findings section.
- Click Add Observation.
- Add Observation Details.
- Click OK.
2. Raising a non-conformance
To raise a non-conformance:
- Access the Audit module.
- Open the Audit record.
- Expand the Findings section.
- Click Raise Non-Conformance.
You can also choose to raise one from template or wizard.
- Add the non-conformance Source.
- Enter Details.
- Fill out optional fields.
- Click OK.
