Adding a Draft Approved stage

Manage Approval Templates permissions are required.
While the Document approval workflow is robust by default, we understand that you may want to add a step between Draft and Active Documents to help you manage the process better. This feature is only available in the Windows client.
This article shows you how you can configure an approval template to add the Draft Approved stage to specific Documents.
1. Adding the stage
To configure the stage:
- Access the Documents module.
- Click Edit in the toolbar.
- Select Approval Templates....
- Click New.
- Choose Approval Template.
- Tick Draft documents using this template should have the following actions....
- Click Add Action.
- Assign an Owner.
- Add Details.
- Tick Target Date X days after Start Date if you want to set a date for additional actions.
- Click OK.
